SpinelliCreations

SC was started as a side project in the winter of 2002 / 2003. Over the years, what was born out of necessity has evolved into something much greater. SC stands on its own two feet, so to speak, now. While it's scope, like that of any virulent entity, will evolve and grow over time, it is intended to maintain the same 'whitty banter' throughout.

Founder

Vince Spinelli was born in Buffalo, NY - the son of Maria Spinelli, daughter of Vince (the elder) and Theresa Spinelli.

Raised in the home of a Steelworker, it became very clear, very early, that there were only two ways to do anything: the right way, and 'bullshit'. Gone was the concept of varying levels of success: great, good, average, poor, bad -- just 'right' and 'bullshit'. Ironically, the 'right way' didn't have (and to this day, still, does not) a set formula or methodology. Rather, any problem solved, issue mitigated, or river crossed (that did not have to be revisited down the line) constituted the 'right way'. Given the state of global affairs, one might argue that this is shrewd thinking on both the micro and macro planes.

If patience is a virtue, then it is a bit of a paradox that while he was brought up with the greatest of patience and understanding, it was also made quite clear to him that this was not a courtesy to be extended in his own ventures -- that patience for the failures and over-reaching efforts of others was not something that he should exercise; rather, to put aside the dribble and focus on the matter at hand, regardless of whomever's ego might be bruised in the process.

''I didn't raise you to compromise'' rings in his head.

Vince graduated from St. Francis High School (Athol Springs, New York) in 1999, at the top of this class, having enjoyed a thoroughly rewarding although physically brutal four years of 'Tex' football. ...although Buffalo's finest Chicken Wings and Pierogies have gotten the best of him these days.

He proceeded to Canisius College (Buffalo, NY), and then transferred to the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB North - Amherst, NY) to study Electrical Engineering. If you're curious why the dramatic change of venue (a comfortable Jesuit run 'homey' college in the heart of Buffalo versus the bustling thoroughfare of venerable flies on the wall that is UB), it had a lot to do with high power car audio sound systems; specifically, how to build a better 'mouse-trap'.

Attending UB part time, working part time, he graduated in the Spring of 2007, BSEE.

Vince has worked in an Engineering Capacity for the following local Buffalo businesses:
... Ford Motor Company, Woodlawn Stamping
... Goodyear Dunlop Tires of North America
... Sorrento Cheese, Lactalis American Group

Still residing in Buffalo, the 'older, tamer' Vince maintains SpinelliCreations, the hosted projects, mirrors, and other ventures; and he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He's an avid audiophile and motorhead, although projects and such haven't left much time for either lately.
